€300 for travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and more. Fluent English and full attendance were required for funding eligibility.
The EASE Academy is a professional development platform established by EASE (EuropeAn network of STEAM Educators), focused on promoting STEAM competencies—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
Aimed at enhancing educators’ practices, the EASE Academy encourages knowledge sharing and collaboration, facilitating a rich exchange of ideas and insights among educators.
The Academy offers Learning Paths, which are structured course sequences designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of specific topics within STEAM education. Developed and peer-reviewed by experts in the field, these paths ensure relevant and high-quality content. Educators can also explore Learning Paths created by fellow EASE community members, leveraging collective expertise. Furthermore, EASE members benefit from a 20% discount on registration fees.
Notably, members of EASE can register for two Learning Paths free of charge each year. The platform features a variety of resources,
including e-learning sessions, multimedia presentations, interactive exercises, and quizzes. Participants have the opportunity to evaluate the training initiatives, ensuring that the programs are both valuable and effective for their professional development. Additionally, the EASE Academy provides a certification program for e-trainers, empowering educators to share their knowledge and experiences with peers.

Bit-MO
Bit-MO is an FTC robotics team founded in 2019 at the National College “Preparandia-Dimitrie Țichindeal” in Arad. Currently, the team consists of 10 members, 8 volunteers, and 2 mentor teachers who guide us in our activities.
Last season, after participating in competitions where we trained and tested our robot, we competed in the regional stage of the FTC
competition, where we won the Design Award 3rd, a prize that recognized the innovation and quality of our robot’s design, as well as our performance in matches.
This year, our main goal is to qualify for the national stage and win a significant award. Looking ahead, we aim to expand our horizons by participating in an international competition. We dedicate our time and effort to improving our design and strategy so that we can achieve these goals.
We actively participate in educational and promotional events where we have the opportunity to showcase our team and robot. Some of the events we have attended include:
- European Researchers’ Night
- Arad Education FAIR [10] Additionally, to promote FIRST values, we launched the “Robots in the Countryside” series, a project in which we visit schools in both rural and urban areas to present robotics in an interactive way
We applied for and received funding through the “Youth, Education, and Recreation 2024” program of the Arad Municipal Cultural Center. With the support of this program, we developed the project “Innovation in Non-Formal Education for Youth through Interactive Robotics – RoboEdu_BIT-MO”. This project aims to address the digital education needs of young people in Arad County through interactive activities that facilitate the understanding of fundamental robotics and technology concepts.
The Bit-MO team is dedicated to innovation, learning, and promoting technology among young people. We strive for continuous growth, participation in major competitions, and inspiring future generations to discover their passion for robotics. Through hard work, perseverance, and collaboration, we are confident that we will achieve our goals and proudly represent our community.
